Eigentlich besteht dieses Orchester schon seit 1829, nennt sich aber erst seit 1876 "Königliche Militärkapelle". So wurde 1976 anlässlich des 100. Jahrestages diese Jubiläumsplatte herausgegeben. 1979 folgte dann eine Platte zum 150-jährigen Jubiläum anlässlich des tatsächlichen Gründungsjahres 1829 (sh. nächste CD).
